Events and Hospitaility Assistant
This is a varied and hands on role at the heart of Sherborne Schools Enterprises, supporting the delivery and promotion of both our events programme and our hospitality outlets, Queenie’s Coffee Shop and The Hub. Working closely with the Commercial Events Manager, you will be involved in the planning, coordination and delivery of a wide range of events including comedy nights, themed events, performances, live music and wedding fairs, while also helping to ensure the smooth day to day running of our hospitality spaces. You will play an important role in maintaining consistently high standards of customer service, food and beverage quality, and health and safety, while also supporting marketing activity and building positive relationships with colleagues, suppliers and partners. The role would suit someone who is proactive, well organised and commercially aware, who enjoys being part of a busy team and is willing to get involved in all aspects of operations, whether that is supporting service, assisting with administration or helping at events. Based primarily at Sherborne International, you will also contribute to initiatives across the wider Sherborne Schools Group and may be required to work at other sites when needed, with some flexibility required to support evening and weekend events. |

Choral Scholar (Tenor)
Sherborne School is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Tenor Choral Scholar to join our vibrant and supportive music community. This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring singer to develop their skills within a tradition of choral excellence. You will sing regularly with both the Abbey Choir and school ensembles, performing a varied repertoire. Strong sight-reading skills are essential due to the fast-paced rehearsal schedule. Alongside performance commitments, you will support the Music School through light administrative duties and assisting with rehearsals and lessons. The role includes services on Sundays and Thursdays, and rehearsals on Monday and Friday evenings. The working week is 40 hours during term time, with some additional commitments during holiday periods. This role would suit a gap-year student or graduate. Head of Outdoor Education Could you help shape the character, confidence, and resilience of young people through the power of outdoor education? We are looking for an inspiring Head of Outdoor Education to organise and support the delivery of the School’s Outdoor Education provision, working closely with colleagues and counterparts across SSG. This role is ideal for someone who believes deeply in the role outdoor education can play in developing character, and who brings together a love of the outdoors, adventurous activities, and youth development with the warmth, empathy, and leadership needed to engage and motivate teenagers. We are seeking an inspiring Director of Rugby Coaching to join our ambitious and values-driven sports department. Working closely with the Director of Rugby, Director of Sport and Deputy Director of Sport (Performance), the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering an outstanding rugby experience for boys of all ages and abilities. This role is ideal for someone who believes in the power of sport to develop character and who combines a passion for coaching with the ability to build meaningful relationships with young people. Resident Graduate Assistant
Sherborne Schools Group is looking to appoint a Graduate Assistant or Undergraduate Intern to support the academic and/or co‑curricular life of the School. This is a residential role based mainly at Sherborne Girls, with opportunities to be involved across the wider Sherborne Schools Group. Accommodation is provided within one of the boarding houses in return for boarding duties, and the role offers an excellent introduction to life in a busy boarding school. It would particularly suit someone considering a future career in teaching or coaching and keen to gain practical, hands‑on experience. Graduate Assistants are fully involved in day‑to‑day school life. Depending on experience and interests, this may include supporting lessons, helping with activities and clubs, and contributing positively to departmental work. There is also an expectation of involvement in the weekend activities programme, working alongside experienced staff. As a resident member of staff, the postholder will play an important role in one of the School’s boarding houses, supporting pupils in the evenings and at weekends, helping with house events, and being an approachable and reliable presence for pupils. Full induction and safeguarding training will be provided, and support is available throughout the role. This is a varied and rewarding position for an enthusiastic, organised and proactive graduate who enjoys working as part of a team and is keen to contribute to the wider life of a school community. Art and Design Technician Sherborne Girls is looking for an enthusiastic and imaginative Art and Design Technician to join our vibrant creative team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a dynamic department where creativity is at the heart of school life, helping pupils bring their ideas to life across a range of artistic disciplines. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting both pupils and teaching staff across Fine Art, Textiles and Photography. School Counsellor
Sherborne Schools Group is looking to appoint a School Counsellor to provide a confidential and thoughtful counselling service for pupils and staff at Sherborne Girls. Based primarily at the school, the role also offers the chance to be involved in wider work across the Group, supporting wellbeing initiatives and, when needed, working at other sites. The successful candidate will support pupils who may self-refer or be referred by pastoral, safeguarding or medical teams, managing their own caseload and building trusted relationships. Working closely with colleagues across the pastoral and healthcare teams, they will help ensure a consistent and supportive approach to pupil care, attend meetings to share insight and good practice, and offer guidance following incidents or bereavements where additional emotional support is needed. There is also scope to provide initial advice to staff seeking counselling support. This is a role for someone who values discretion, connection and practical impact, and who wants to contribute meaningfully to a school community where wellbeing is taken seriously. Part Time Sports Coach
Sherborne Schools Group is seeking a Sports Coach to join the team at Sherborne Girls, playing an active role in delivering a varied and engaging sports programme.
