Applying to the Sixth Form

Sherborne Girls is justifiably proud of its Sixth Form of around 200 girls.

We deliver an exciting, challenging and fulfilling programme of academic, co-curricular and leadership opportunities that enable the young women in our care to access their chosen futures while making a positive contribution to the world around them.

We welcome Sixth Form enquiries and visits year-round, whilst our dedicated Sixth Form Open Event (taking place on Saturday 12 September 2026) will offer you the chance to meet our Sixth Form team and current students who joined us in the Lower Sixth. Joining our Sixth Form

Each year we welcome applications from girls wishing to join our thriving Sixth Form with entrance and scholarships assessments taking in place in November of Year 11.  

Here is the recommended timeline for applications: 
 

Registrations and assessments for girls applying to the Lower Sixth (Year 12) will remain open while places are available.
